About SOLH
A Mediterranean grill and bar on Jalan Damai, off Jalan Ampang in Kuala Lumpur, built around sharing plates, good drinks and long evenings.
Our story
Solh opened in April 2023 on Jalan Damai, a quiet street just off Jalan Ampang and ten minutes from KLCC. It was founded by Vandai and Christina, who wanted a place where Mediterranean food could be shared the way it is at home: mezze in the middle of the table, bread from the oven, meat and fish from the charcoal grill, and nobody in a hurry.
The name Solh means "peace" in Persian, and that's the mood the place is built around.

The kitchen
Naing
Head Chef
Head Chef Naing leads the kitchen from the charcoal grill to the mezze counter. His menu runs from saffron chicken and lamb skewers to wood-fired pizza and Australian wagyu picanha, all built for sharing.
The space
Solh seats 90 and holds up to 120 standing for parties. The dining room opens onto a covered garden terrace under rattan lights, with the bar along one side and the open grill in view.
